Hydrogen in the energy transition - French German Seminar

What role for Hydrogen in the energy transition in Provence and Hamburg/Northern Germany ?

With its ecological virtues, Hydrogen has all assets to assert itself as a key element in reducing greenhouse gas emissions (Paris Agreements) and increasing substantially the use of green energy.
There are many possibilities of application which will be set out during the seminar organized as part of the 60th anniversary of twinning between Hamburg and Marseille.

French and German specialists will discuss the technological, economic and regulatory challenges of this energy source and present their know-how.

Information will be provided on the mayor regional Projects which could present an investment opportunity for foreign companies.

  • Hynovar - low-carbon land and sea mobility
  • Jupiter 1000 - power to gas demonstrator
  • HyGreen Provence - storage of green energy in salt cavities

B2B meetings will be organized to initiate French-German cooperations and partnerships in a bilateral, but also European context.

A presentation and visit of the H2 risk platform HyResponse – ENSOSP - French National School for Fire service Officers near Aix-en-Provence is planned on December 6th in the morning.
